(I've tried to transfer the audio from my old phone phone for a while but nothing will play the files other than the phone). We have a buyer protection policy, but that's not for stupid people". I've experienced telephone advisors saying things like "just shut up and listen to me for one minute" and "you did something stupid and that's not ebay's fault. You're just a number in a category and they'll repeat the "buzz phrases" from that category to you for the entire phone call. You can, of course, dispute again and again, phone customer support and complain, speak to the manager. You've given me $4k for something that's almost worthless and I can pretty much walk away with your money. So basically I can stick a Behringer mic inside a U47 body and sell it to you for $4k. So when you receieve a microphone from ebay and someone's tampered with it ebay say you shouldn't really know because you shouldnt be curious enough to inspect your purchase, or you could be the one who has tampered with it. of course there are scammers, but ebay really helps them out with some of their policies.Įbay don't understand that a microphone is not the shell and grill, it is the electronics, the diaphragm etc. It's nothing to do with other members generally. I do have a reminder set up, to 5mins prior. I dont have any special clock, usually my computer clock is in sync but on occasion it can drift so i have to compensate. I usually just bid my max in the last 5 secs. So i thought someone was gonna offer him more but he took it down after a couple of hours I gotta say, with the 1st one it was nerve wracking, because the seller left the listing up after i,d paid paypal to his e-mail addy (he did not know how to add the BIN). To my amazement, the first one i got for $20 (including speakers) the guyĪctually thought it was just a usb adapter. I have recently asked 2 sellers if they have a BIN on the very very rare Griffin iFire adapter for the Apple Mac spherical speakers (original price of around $50. Seriously though, i have done it on occasion where i,m not too bothered if i win or not and have a hope it will go cheap. Oddly i have seen in the past where the BIN would still remain. An item with a BIN can be wiped off in 1 sec after its created I do it because its just a stupid part of the auction set up. I never ever want the damn items but there i go click click, my body goes into full relaxation mode when i see the BIN disappear. Bidders who take out an awesome BIN in bidding on the starting bid annoy me much more.Er that would me heh Snipping is legit way to bid, and to get good deals. If an auction gets out of hand, walk away. Also never bid more than you actually want to pay.
